First and foremost, Principal Hu Qilin stressed the significance of ideological and political education integration, pointing out that it is necessary to integrate national feelings and red genes into daily teaching, and cultivate students with a sense of responsibility in the new era. In the meantime, Secretary Lu Dan expressed that we should give full play to the main channel role of ideological and political education courses, strengthen curriculum research, and constantly innovate teaching methods. 

Moreover, Yang Yu, Head of the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Team of the Primary School Division, shared how to cultivate students’ moral character through lively and interesting activities. On the other hand, Wu Jiamei and Ma Wei, teaching and research leaders of the Junior High School Division, stressed that the ideological and political education elements in the textbooks should be deeply explored according to the characteristics of students. Furthermore, Zhou Wenkai, Head of the Politics Teaching and Research Department of the Senior High School Division, emphasized the combination of theory and  practice to guide students to pay attention to social hot issues.

In conclusion, this conference clarified the direction for the ideological and political education integration construction of Anqing Foreign Language School. More remarkably, Anqing Foreign Language School shall take this conference as an opportunity to actively explore a new path of ideological and political education, so that the national feelings and red genes can take root in the hearts of students, which will contribute to the cultivation of socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, work and aesthetics.
